Implement handling custom error types

The frontend should be able to differentiate errors and act accordingly.


### Why Is This Needed?
Currently, the frontend cannot handle different error types. Thus, to ensure safety, it aborts execution on any error received from the server. This means that, e.g., a single element failling serialization will prevent the graph from being displayed.
