Purple-Buddy (WIP)

Open Sourced 5/30/26.. very old project i made for fun, might make a redo of this.

What Is This?

Based on Apple's internal software PurpleSNIFF. This is a mimic written in C# .net framework built for Windows.

Why Even Make This?

  1. I love making Automation based software.
  2. I primarily develop software for Windows.
  3. I used to work for a small cellphone repair shop and reliable software for iOS devices outside of iTunes was pretty limited.

So with these 3 things put together, one could say it's inevitable that i make something on Windows that's iOS related.

What Is Apple's PurpleSNIFF?

PurpleSNIFF Is used internally by Apple and other licensed companies to conduct diagnostics & information gathering of Apple devices. The only company listed too have access to this software & possibly other internally used software by Apple is Foxconn. Personally I do know that UbreakIFix does have access to certain Apple software which is preloaded on a custom Macbook (possibly under an Apple MDM).
