hey Devs, the software can't validate the files

You just need to a) use a valid source, and b) wait for a while. It'll look like it's doing nothing, but it's validating the files. It only failed if it shows you a red error message.

I got the game files, the ones containing Arena2, and imported it, and it said it failed, "archive did not contain valid daggerfall folder" like fuck it didn't, why does nothing ever work, everytime I have a cute thought like install daggerfall on my phone, it's always a fucking 2 hour headache later, anything that involves GitHub is just basically unusable, honestly what did I even expect

Try again with the latest pre-release: https://github.com/Vwing/daggerfall-unity-android/releases/tag/v1.1.1.8

Previously, it only worked with daggerfall game files that were zipped up from an installed source. Now it works also with the pre-installed files, like from the source people tend to use from the uesp wiki.
