I am reformatting these codelists according to the required structure, after which Benus will develop the functionality to automatically incorporate them into the related mappings in CodeMapper.
ICD9CMP will be added in the same way: I will split the codes into the relevant mappings, and Benus will ensure they are incorporated automatically.
This task is a priority and is expected to be completed by next few days.
Benus will develop an option to edit custom coding system names directly in CodeMapper.
This will allow me to change Free_text to free_text (compatible with ETL), removing the need for post-processing scripts. This will be finish soon by next few days.
A new option will be developed to allow mappings to be copied into study-specific folders.
This will enable each study to copy the list of variables they need, apply changes within their folder, and avoid altering the main library.
This will be the next priority after Task 1.
Full codelist downloads
Benus is working on enabling downloads of full-codelists without limitations.
This remains a priority, although the timeline is unclear as he is still exploring technical solutions.
Editing multiple mappings’ metadata
Work is ongoing to allow editing of multiple mappings’ metadata (e.g., project names) in bulk.
Currently, we do not yet have a solution for handling multiple dictionary versions under a single coding system name (e.g., ICD10, ICD10_2019) in a way that is compatible with ETL.
This is a large task and will require further work, especially for ICD10 and MEDCODEID.
For now, I will standardize the name ICD10_2019 to ICD10 using a script until a long-term solution is found.
