Specify role used in product plan

Feature Request - Can we create Wordpress roles based on membership type? For example I want mine to all be Editors but if I could differentiate them  for example, Editor - Starter Collector; Editor - Serious Collector; etc. This would then allow me to control what features that user can see on the front-end of the site in order to upsell certain functionality.
