Describe the issue
The tinkers smeltery occasionally misregisters smelted items, leading to eg. more of the first fluid instead of the correct amount of different fluids.
To Reproduce
- Build a smeltery, preferably bigger
- Pipe in a big amount of different blocks, in this example 333 Blocks of Aluminum and 111 Blocks of Copper.
Additional Information
My Setup for Step 2:
I do not know if the Fuel Input Machine is important, it contains controlled fuel.
The smeltery is very big, 9x9x~64:
It did actually correctly register some smelted blocks, as I was left with 68 blocks of aluminum brass; however 111 blocks of copper got converted into 111 blocks of aluminum, leading to 444 blocks of aluminum being in the smeltery instead of 444 blocks of aluminum brass.
This might potentially have something to do with the fact that I had the output running since I was smelting 512 of various blocks (menril, biotite, ...) while the aluminum brass was smelting and alloying on the top.
Important Note
Alloying in the Tinkers Smeltery is the only way to automate
- Osgloglas
- Osmiridium
- Mirion
- Alumite
- Knightslime
- Pigiron
- Aurorian Alloy
While some of these fluids aren't needed at all, about half of them are vital in huge amounts for endgame. With this issue you cannot reliably automate/passive them
