Description
I'm using AutoDrive (AD) and Courseplay (CP) together, and they work very well in certain tasks.
For example, when collecting and transporting windrowed grass, I set up a fieldwork course in CP, and then use AD to define the loading and unloading points—loading at the field edge and unloading at the farm silo. As long as I enable the "Cooperate with CP" option in AD, the tractor uses AD for transport and unloading. When it reaches the field, it automatically switches to CP to perform the windrow collection task, during which AD remains inactive.
However, when performing the task of unloading a harvester into a trailer, even after setting it up the same way, AD does not hand over control of the in-field unloading operation to CP. Instead, AD tries to manage the entire unloading process itself. What I want is exactly the same behavior as with windrow collection: CP should fully handle all field operations, while AD only takes care of transport and unloading.
The reason I prefer this setup is that CP’s logic for unloading harvesters is significantly better than AD’s—especially when the harvester itself is already controlled by CP.
So, how should I configure the system to achieve this desired behavior?
