Paragraph not treating auto-escaped lines as individual text blocks leads to alignment issues

I have a Paragraph with Anchor set to AutoCenter and AlignToCenter set to true. When the Text ("Residential building" in this example) cannot fit in a single line and escapes to a second, the second line is not individually aligned to the center, but to the start of the first line (can be seen in the picture).
