Feature Request: Console Support for `/njointoggle`

Hi! First of all, thank you for the great plugin. It’s been working really well on our network.

I’d like to suggest adding console support for the /njointoggle command.

Specifically, something like:

/njointoggle <all | join | leave | swap> <player>

This would allow the command to be executed from console and target other players directly.

This would be very useful for:

• Staff moderation tools
• Automated scripts
• Syncing player preferences via external systems

Hope this can be considered in a future update. Thank you!

Hi! Thank you again for being open to adding this feature, I really appreciate it.

Some players find the join/leave/swap messages quite spammy, so they prefer having them toggled off. However, I don’t want to give them the direct networkjoinmessages.toggle permission.

What I’m trying to accomplish is this:

I want the messages to be toggled off by default when a player joins. I’m using nLogin, which can execute a command every time a player joins the server. For this to work, NetworkJoinMessages would need to support console execution, for example:

/njointoggle all off <player>

Then, if a player prefers to enable certain messages again, I’m using DeluxeMenus to open a GUI where they can choose which messages to toggle (All, Join, Leave, or Swap). DeluxeMenus would execute the toggle command through console as well.

This setup allows players to manage their preferences without being granted the networkjoinmessages.toggle permission directly. Not sure if that makes perfect sense, but that’s the goal I’m trying to achieve.

Yes, I would like /njointoggle to work for offline players as well.

It would also be very beneficial if the toggle state is persistent. If a player disconnects or logs out, the toggle should remain in whatever state it was last set to.

Additionally, it would be really helpful if an option could be added in the config to toggle messages off by default when a player joins (for All, Join, Leave, and Swap). That way, I wouldn’t need to rely on nLogin for the default behavior and would only use console commands when players manually toggle things back on.

I really appreciate your detailed response! I completely understand what you're trying to do and I think it's a great idea.

I love that you mention a config key to change the default "ignoring" state as that would be best for your intentions. I'll be sure to add that as well.

I am pretty busy with work and class so I have no idea how long this may take. With that being said, I should be able to start working on this over this weekend.
