What should I test next?

I’ve been running a series of experiments around Java applications on small servers, including Spring Boot on 256 MB and 512 MB VPSes and Spring Boot vs Quarkus.

For the next experiment, I’d like to see what people are most interested in.

Perhaps beyond the original scope/goal of the experiments, it would be nice to see how ASP.NET and golang compare. I would be willing to lend a hand with the code if you like.

Thanks, I think this could be interesting, especially Go. I’d probably do it after StatLite has Go support, so I can use the same monitoring setup and methodology across the applications.

ASP.NET could be interesting too, although I first need to understand what the most natural lightweight monitoring integration looks like in the .NET ecosystem. If you have experience there, I’d be interested in what people typically use for basic application/runtime metrics and health.

And thanks for offering to help with the code. I may take you up on that when I get to this experiment.
