thermal-service: Consider more descriptive names for retreieving fan/sensor instances

As per this comment (#324 (comment)), more descriptive names could be used. The current names were chosen to match naming conventions of other services, so will discuss with other service maintainers at some time to decide if a different naming convention should be used.
