Hi, great work, I'd love to make this work (including setup scripts) on macos
I have software development and AI experience, also some audio coding experience, no experience on Juce but I'd like to try my hand at it, what do you think?

It worked more or less out of the box for me with Claude Code on MacOS. Just asked it to make sense of the repo and it picked up all the agent configurations and generation steps. Though on first try it built x86_64 binaries even though my machine in an apple silicon. After telling CC to fix that it built a working plugin. Or sorta, audio was fine but the Visage gui didn't work. Knobs were badly designed and didn't respond to mouse events.

nice. I noticed a bunch of back and forth on the sample HTML GUI. Those changes were part of the claude banter to make it work. It was something about using an older version of JUCE js bindings. It can figure it out like you said but it adds a bit more time making the thing.

Thanks for making this project btw. I've had a plugin in mind for years and finally made it. Now I'm waiting on a midi footswitch to try it out in realtime.

I just submitted a PR that gives mac support. I'm able to make a plugin and have it compile them to VST3 and AU. It runs standalone and in Garageband.

I was just emailing the buddy who told me about this project (also a mac user). This part seems relevant to this project too:

Using it is so easy, I almost didn't know how to start:

1. have a plugin in mind, with as many or little notes ahead of time
2. open the folder with the terminal*
3. claude (or apparently any other LLM like Gemini, grok, etc)
4. follow the flow
5. I think I mentioned, in the middle it's like 'normal' vibe coding where you go back and forth and need to think a bit about what you want, a bit of QA, etc.
6. you have a real plugin.
   mine opens in garageband and is stand alone as an AU plugin on a mac. It does compile the VST3 too, but I didn't look for it in Garageband since it like AU plugins.

*A note on security. I first reviewed all of the hidden files, settings and CLAUDE.md and other markdown files. Since all of this stuff is so new and we're in this new era of using vibe coded project to then vibe code and potentially auto-loaded prompts are getting loaded when starting models...a bit of real human time initially is important to me.
