App hangs on the opening logo page often for Android?

App hangs on the opening logo page often for me. It will just show the logo and never open. Sometimes hard stoping the app and reopening helps, sometimes I have to reboot the phone. My phone is a Motorola Moto g play 2024 running android 14, build U1TFS34.100-35-14-1-12

@stevekuznetsov as our resident Android user do you get this? I recall something like this happening last year but I thought we fixed.

This is what was happening to Charlotte a lot on her older Android. This one seems pretty new though...but maybe a Motorola, maybe it is a specific version of android (16 is the current, this is running 14)? We never really found why this is happening, but in theory the move to the new arch could help with this

Every once and awhile we get a Sentry error about the app hanging. I can look at those and see if there's any pattern that could help us out here

The common Sentry app hangs are from iOS, so that may not be related. I haven't really gone skiing or used the app this year, so I am a bad one to ask, sorry!

Someone else just followed up on an email from a month ago who's using a Moto g power. Similarly getting stuck on the load screen. He is on Android 16 though. He said he cant find a pattern:

I can go through and do #82 which is also mentioned in #896 as a potential way to help this, but it could come down to the Expo update
