Hi, the reason this bar shows up is because there isn't a clean way to clip the "last" element's radius then.

And also what should be done when the user scrolls? Unless the UI should keep the corner radius of the results 0 and just stop showing the footer.

This would just look insanely ugly.

I think it should just mask the bottom with the ordinary corner radius, so whatever partial search results exist are clipped via a rounded rect. This is the behavior Spotlight has, and I don't think it looks particularly ugly in either case of {empty list, partially scrolled list}.

Initially that's what I wanted and the earlier versions of rustcast had that.. but the problem is more on the iced gui crate where the clipping didn't work last time I tried. I can try it again but no guarantees.

Yea the clipping doesn't work.. what i can do however is set the footer's content to nothing. which would look something like this:
