configure 2.4.0 plugin, try to apply to any user and get error message "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'value')"

hmm might be another issue - I went back into the plugin to check my settings and Seerr integration was disabled, if I click 'enable' it just spins a circle forever.

Same problem here.
Same plugin version, but jellyfin 10.11.11.
When I try to save a configuration change, i get the spinning wheel and the errror message "Cannot read properties of null (reading "value")" in the browser console.

Please reinstall Moonbase. This was my fault but @RadicalMuffinMan fixed it already :)

Yup, I just tested it too. For anyone else who was an early adopter, all you need to do to fix this is:

1. Uninstall Moonbase from its plugin-overview page.
2. Click Install Moonbase from the same plugin overview page.
3. Restart your server.
4. You should see the same version number but with a later time stamp:

That is the working version :)

unfortunately still not working for me - I followed the 4 steps and the version and time are the same.. but when I try to save any settings page in moonfin I just get the spinning wheel. Do I need to manually clear out a file / folder? thank you.

You shouldn't have to. Maybe do a server restart after the uninstall? I went through those exact steps this morning and didn't run into any issues.

yeah just did the uninstall and server (docker) shutdown, just reinstalling now to test.

was interesting that the plugin was showing different names ("moonfin" an d"moonbase")

yes, apparently I needed to follow that procedure - uninstall the plugin, restart the server, then shutdown the server (docker container). restart the server, re-install plugin, restart server.

Is allowing me to save configurations now, will test at my parent's house shortly.

ok well that's the plugin issue resolved, however back to the original issue. I cannot apply my default settings to any user, it gives an error code of "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'value')"

Has the user logged in before?

yes.. I also cannot apply the defaults to any account, including mine.
