Introduction - New Contributor

Hi all, I'm Jonathan! I'm a quant dev with a claude code subscription and an amateur interest in molecular simulations. Over the years I've learned a number of useful patterns for speeding up numerical Python, and from looking at the code here, it seems like there is some significant overlap between analyzing the movements of atoms and analyzing the prices of securities. :)

Anyway, I'm hoping to make a few small pull requests over the next few days and weeks that will hopefully contribute some meaningful wall clock improvements to common workflows.
