Invalid configuration, please check your configuration

Hi! I keep running into the "Invalid configuration, please check your configuration". Just to be clear, the map works. But since I get the invalid configuration error, I cannot use any of the features such as room selection, area selection etc, which for me is the biggest reason to have the map. How do I troubleshoot the error? I have tried the suggested fixes such as reloading Roborock Custom Map after installing the core Roborock integration, but to no avail.

Hello,
I'm trying to use this in combination with the Roborock Q8 max (HA roborock.vacuum.a73). The problem seems to be with the calibration source, which is missing. Manualy adding "calibration_source: camera: true" shows me the card with a map but with the text "Invalid configuration, please check your configuration" below the map image.

Any idea how to solve this?

Same issue. Tried reloading all roborock/map configurations in different orders. Nada. After generating static config (generate rooms config is greyed out), my config looks like this:

EDIT: Never mind, fixed it. I had not set up the integration and created a new custom map entity.

Exactly as brandon said.

To fix:

1. disable original "maps" that your roborock vacuum provides.

2. make sure to install the roborock custom map via HACS

3. restart homeassistant

4. go to settings > device & services > add integration > search for roborock custom map > it detects your stuff > "skip and finish"

5. Make sure you install the "Xiaomi Vacuum Map Card" via HACS (follow its readme for installing that, you might need to add a resource)

6. Add the default xiamo card to a dashboard and fill in the fields it asks for. (FOR CAMERA ENTITY MAKE SURE YOU DONT USE YOUR OLD CAMERA MAPS FROM ROBOROCK. Use the ones that end with _custom

7. click on "Generate Room configs"

8. You are done :)

This doesn't work for me for the second map. I have 2 floors. The second map always gets this error. If I select the second map on the Vacuum card as the camera entity "generate room config" is greyed out.

@OCT0PUSCRIME Hmm i had that aswell, but for my first map. And the reason was that i forgot to disable the original floor maps in the native roborock integration before installing the thing. (And keep em disabled)

Are you sure your second map has "custom" at the end?

if it does have custom at the end, then sadly i do not know a fix : (

Apologies, I didn't realize mine was a separate issue that is already open here. I fixed it using the suggestions in that thread (reaplcing camera: true with calibration points which can be found in developer tools > states > [select custom map entity]. That might work for this issue as well.
