Image and label not diplayed when using Chrome or Safari

I tried using the tensorboard 3D plugin for displaying my medical images. Image and/or label is plotted using plot_2d_or_3d_image. The images are displayed correctly on the tensorboard 'images' tab. Tensorboard 3D tab loads the images but nothing is displayed. I have tried normalizing using only image, label or both in combination along with scaling the pixel intensities to ranges [0, 1], [0, 255] and also using no scaling before saving the images. When toggling view plane and pointing at certain locations the pixel values are displayed for that location, meaning the image values are found. However, nothing is displayed. Using Safari the whole screen is blank (white).

The plugin seems to work fine using firefox:

I have this issue as well. No 3d images are shown in chrome or edge
