MacBook with a dock that won't set up when you wake up from sleep

In a monitor above, Macbook below configuration, when you wake up from sleep, the dock goes to the Macbook you don't set up. To prevent this, I bought the DockLock Plus app, but I have this problem. I'm using macOS 26 beta 7.

DockLock app stops the Dock jumping if it is triggered by the user. But when the system wakes up, macOS may push the Dock to the wrong screen, the app cannot prevent that. Instead, it detects if the Dock is not located in the "Allow Dock on Display" setting and relocates the Dock to the first Display in that list. Also, it can’t relocate the Dock when you are constantly moving the mouse or the context menu or the control center is opened.

Please update to v2.0.5, it has some improvements.
And get back to me and provide the requested information if that does not work the way I explained.

When the system wakes from sleep, the Dock sometimes moves to the wrong monitor. In such cases, it doesn’t automatically relocate to the correct position, so I have to manually reset it by dragging the mouse down to the Dock position on the Studio Display.

Can you please confirm since when it happens like that? I made a fix in v2.0.4 that solves exactly this. Is it reproduced in v2.0.5?

Please confirm that "Move Dock to Display" feature of DockLock Plus does work for you

The Dock to Display feature works properly, but there’s a slight delay of about 1–2 seconds. In version 2.0.5, it seems to move automatically, though I’ll need to double-check since I’m not entirely sure. Thank you for your prompt response.

That is expected. My app can't move the Dock while you are moving the mouse, so it waits for a second of no mouse movement and then does the job. I'll continue testing, and if that does not bring any issues, I'll keep lowering that delay.

Also Dock relocation does not work while any context menu is open or control center, it can't override that behavior and the app keeps trying to relocate the Dock for 15 seconds. If failed, the Dock remains on wrong screen.

I'll be waiting for your confirmation of whether this issue is reproduced with v2.0.5 or not, and I will work to improve the app if a bug is found.

Thanks, I can't reproduce that and will need your help.
Make sure that your target display is selected in the app, and only that screen. I expect it does according to your screenshot, but your next screenshot has a different layout. After every layout change, the app is guessing the right screen to keep selected after the change. To exclude mistakes here please confirm the setting.

After that, please tell me if it is easy to reproduce via terminal command sudo pmset sleepnow ?

Looks like there is UI bug here, not affecting the app function, it paints vertical layout in wrong order, please ignore that. I'll fix this in next update.
