Background:
UK
IRN sky news audio feed via satellite
PC1 is remote and connected via openvpn to the studio network
PC1 sends audio and receives audio via openvpn, receive is OK
PC1:
Mplayer using DVB (satellite) to tune and listen to audio news feed, send audio to PC2 via openob
mplayer using jack to send audio
PC2:
listening to audio feed and sending to playback port
The audio on PC" is choppy, bits are missing

Here is the output from njconnect

Here is the mplayer command
mplayer -dvbin timeout=20 -nolirc -quiet -noconsolecontrols dvb://SNR -ao jack:noconnect:name=IRN_in
as you can see:
mplayer outputs to jack ports IRN_in
I then map IRN_in* to irn2auriga:in_irn2auriga_*
irn2auriga:in_irn2auriga_* is the openob link
I am wondering if I can do that?
If I use jack_capture to record output on IRN_in* or irn2auriga:in_irn2auriga_* it is fine
When I do that same at the receiving end I have choppyness.
I am not sure if the issue is with openob sending the data or something on the receiving end.
We also send audio from PC3 to PC1 for transmission and that audio is OK.
