Wheel slippage & tire grip

Hello,

Some of the configuration settings on this app are a little confusing - shouldn't there be a separate section for wheel slip and tire grip effects? They seem to be baked into the section for the ABS, but those are separate effects. Turning off the ABS effect does not also turn off the wheel slip & tire grip signals.. but there's also a "wheelspin buzz" toggle under the Throttle toggles that does not have a correspondingly worded configuration in the settings tab. I'd like to finer tune these from what they are as default (the default is far too noisy for my personal taste, but I like them there because it's more information to my hands) but it looks like something messy is going on underneath the configuration as it's not clear what knobs to turn to control specifically those signals.

Turns out I missed the wheelspin buzz slider, playing with it now.

To be clear though - the wheel slip settings in the ABS section are separate completely from this signal? It's kind of hard to tell.

Note: Turning this slider to 1 is still incredibly noisy especially for Cross Country events - it doesn't seem to accept 0.5 as a value either.

Some of these effects need to work within a specific internal range in order to feel correct. For example, wheel slip / road feel is not just a simple on/off vibration. It needs enough room to vary the motor frequency and intensity so the controller can communicate changes in grip, surface, and slip.

If the value is set too low, such as 1, there may not be enough range left for that frequency variation. In that case, instead of producing a useful “road feel” effect, the motor can end up constantly starting and stopping, which feels noisy or harsh or not right.

Wheel slip and ABS are two different effects. ABS is related to braking behavior and activates when the wheels are locking/slipping under braking. Wheel slip, on the other hand, is meant to give you the feeling of the tire sliding or losing grip, more like dragging your finger across a table surface. It is more of a continuous texture/grip feedback rather than a simple braking vibration.
