Code of Conduct

CodeWell contributors are expected to keep project discussions technical, respectful, and focused on building useful local-first developer tooling.

Expected Behavior

  • Be direct and constructive.
  • Respect different experience levels and backgrounds.
  • Critique ideas and code, not people.
  • Keep disagreements grounded in evidence, tradeoffs, and project goals.
  • Gracefully accept constructive criticism.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
  • Discriminatory language or behavior.
  • Publishing private information without permission.
  • Repeated disruption of project discussions.
  • Trolling or insulting comments.

Enforcement

Maintainers may remove comments, close discussions, reject contributions, or block participants when behavior harms the project or its contributors. Instances of abusive behavior may be reported to the project maintainers. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Attribution

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
