I'd like to work on this issue because implementing compliance controls that are both secure and user-friendly is essential for financial applications. Threshold-based KYC ensures regulatory requirements are met without introducing unnecessary friction for everyday users.

I have experience building fintech and blockchain applications involving authentication, authorization, transaction workflows, and compliance-aware system design. I've also worked on escrow and payment platforms where secure handling of sensitive operations, configurable business rules, and auditability were key requirements.

For this task, I'll implement configurable KYC/AML gating for redemption flows that exceed the defined thresholds while ensuring lower-value redemptions remain unaffected. I'll integrate the KYC provider cleanly into the redemption workflow, maintain an auditable verification trail, and ensure the implementation follows privacy-by-design principles by collecting and exposing only the information necessary for compliance. I'll also add comprehensive tests covering threshold boundaries, verified and unverified users, and failure scenarios.
