The issue is still here in 2026.2.5. After the update the first maximize was ok, but the next one has the same bug. Please reopen.

Hi,
For some reason, I can't seem to reproduce the issue, even when playing with my resolution/scaling.
I made a potential fix for it, though since I can't reproduce the problem on my end, I haven't been able to verify if it actually fixes it.

Could you try this test build and let me know if it resolves the issue for you? I'd really appreciate your feedback.

Hi! Yes, it seems to be fixed in this version. I'll keep trying, but it looks good!

Edit: Well, there's still a problem (different one, so I don't know if it's related): When I maximize the window and then close the program (to the tray), when I reopen it, it doesn't maximize back, but it has the restored size it had before maximizing. It just doesn't remember the maximized state.

So the steps to reproduce:
Maximize (from restored state, not from minimized state - see the second problem bellow)
Close (to the tray)
Reopen (from the tray)

Result: The window is not maximized, but restored

And one more strange problem. When I maximize the window, then minimize it to the taskbar, then maximize it again, and now close it to the tray, after reopening it opens to the screen size, but when I move it, it remains in a state when it cannot be maximized.

So the steps to reproduce:
Maximize
Minimize (to the taskbar)
Restore (from the taskbar to maximized state)
Close (to the tray)
Reopen (from the tray) - now it looks maximized, but...
Move the window somewhere (or close it again to the tray and then reopen it)

Result:

Now in this state:
When I click the weird restore button (on a non-maximized window): nothing happens
When I move it around the screen: It moves but it's still in this weird state
When I move it to the screen top to maximize it: the weird state is fixed
When I close the program to the tray and reopen: it's still in this weird state
When I click minimize and then restore it: the weird state is fixed

I am facing this exact issue with version 2026.2.5 in my Windows 10 Laptop and Desktop, both!

I posted about the behaviour I'm seeing in this comment: #5137 (comment) (You'll need to expand the off-topic comment)

Basically:

1. Click the 'X' close button in the top right corner of the main window.
2. Next to the clock double click UniGetUI 2026.2.5 icon.
3. Result: a few pixels larger empty border.
4. (repeat)

Running Windows 11 25H2 26200.8875. My display is 1920x1080, and I use 125% 'scale' (zoom). 'scale' is irrelevant, or at least 100% gives the same bug.

Great, I'll merge the fix into main then, so it will be included in the next release.

I also added fixes for the two other issues tnovak007 mentioned, since I was able to reproduce them as well. Thanks for finding these issues.
