reminder to include search api. coingecko has theirs on a 'change' event listener that populates a dropdown on the same page, i want to something similar but not call the api on ever letter typed like they do, maybe on click only

search functionality is complete, user can type and submit to get new results that empty out old results. Onchange functionality removes results completely if search input is empty and user clicks outside.

maybe add X to corner to $('#searchResults').empty() as well?
-added: though it needs to float or something, it stays at the first element when scrolled

-styling needs some finessing like hiding the div better when nothing is being searched. done
