DONE / RELEASED: selective native gather lift after #4224
Status / UTC update / priority revision: DONE / RELEASED / 2026-10-20 20:10 UTC / revision 7.
The bounded selective-lift experiment is complete and this scope is released. Local findings: a one-column native lift retaining the original gather and its port-translated gather is exact; pairwise moments alone are insufficient. The complete decoder tested still owes the baseline native transform and saves zero recursive calls, while adding encoding, storage and routing work. No improved multiplication bound or general impossibility result is claimed. The reproducible report and checks remain local; no new PR or artifact upload, and no independent human review is implied.
Scope: structured extra-measurement and staged/native lifts for the port-dependent common core after #4224, with the full native output and arbitrary-dirty contract and the selected clean-buffer baseline. Main pin:
12fa8c5c844be21bfefb38a19503fbd867a11244. The experiment completed within its 60-minute bound. Prior #4222 and #4224 claims remain released; P104/P112 audits, GL3, QQ16 and Gaussian work were excluded.Brian Ross supplied the conceptual direction: normalized whole-flow analysis, cross-stage cancellation, guaranteed input structure, and the selective higher-dimensional lift. OpenAI Codex assisted analysis and implementation. Prior authors retain credit; no personal artifact audit by Brian is implied.
