Publish MBCompass to Google play

Publishing MBCompass to the Google Play Store might be great for reaching a larger user base, and this project remains open source with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no tracking.

Its current features (Out of Date):

• Obviously displaying magnetic north with cardinal direction
• Landscape support
• Magnetic strength
• Ability to show user location on a map (within the app itself) using OpenStreetMap data

Just read about the app in the weekly OSM UK mailing list; great work. I've downloaded the latest APK and will give it a go on my Android 16 Pixel 6.

Do you still intend to publish the app on the Play store?

Yep, there are a lot of improvements and feature requests planned to implement on MBCompass in upcoming releases; also, publishing MBCompass on Google Play helps to expose this app to many users. Currently, MBCompass hasn't received any funds or donations. I think that is mostly because I set up the donation platform only 10 days ago, maybe.

In short, definitely MBCompass will be available on Google Play soon.

As always, your feedback and suggestions help to improve MBCompass.

README.md should mention the reasons for its conspicuous absence from Google Play. Else users will think it failed a virus test or something.
