Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, as contributors and maintainers of CodeJudge, pledge to foster an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and harassment-free community for everyone. We are committed to making participation in our project a respectful experience for all, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful, considerate, and patient
  • Offering constructive feedback and accepting it gracefully
  • Welcoming newcomers and helping others in need
  • Focusing on what is best for the community

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information (such as addresses or contact details) without explicit permission
  • Any other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other communication channels or events related to the CodeJudge project, both online and offline.

Reporting & Enforcement

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it as soon as possible. You may contact:

I strive to answer all reports as soon as I receive and read them.

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The maintainer is obligated to respect the privacy and safety of all reporters.

Enforcement Guidelines

Actions taken in response to violations may include:

  1. Correction:
    Private communication and guidance regarding the violation.

  2. Warning:
    Official warning with consequences for continued behavior.

  3. Temporary Ban:
    Temporary removal from project spaces.

  4. Permanent Ban:
    Permanent removal from all project spaces.

The nature and severity of the violation will determine the response, at the discretion of the project maintainer.
