Problem

Our Lighthouse score on mobile is currently 72. We'd like it to be 90+.

Suggested fixes

  • Defer non-critical CSS.
  • Reduce DOM size (currently re-rendering the entire list on every change).
  • Preconnect to the avatar CDN.

Acceptance criteria

  • Lighthouse mobile performance ≥ 90 on a 4G throttled test
  • No regressions in accessibility / best-practices scores
