Saving Throws feedback

Hey Bubb, do you remember some discussion some months back about a component that'd display in-game console output about saving throws' numbers, what they were saving against/from who...?

I think there were some screenshots in Discord at some point; did it come to anything, in the end?

Hey, that feature should be in the next major version, (when I finally get around to it). It's lurking in the current release though - you can enable it by unzipping the contents of the attached file into your override folder.

This appears to rather reliably cause IWDEE to crash. The crash occurs when the saving throw in made.

The crash isn't 100% reproducible, but it seems to occur when the save is successful. I am able to reliably reproduce it by walking into the area of effect of a Web. I've also seen the crash occur when an NPC would cast Charm Person on my party members (though every time the crash did not occur, the charm was successful, leading me to surmise the crash only occurs when the save succeeds).

The crash does not produce a dump nor the expected EEex popup that says a crash occurred. My guess is that EEex::Override_CGameEffect_CheckSave is segfaulting. I do not have a debugger to attach to verify.

Hey @Bubb13 , I tried unzipping the file you provided to the override folder with EEex-v0.10.2.1-alpha in a new BGEE installation but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a way to reactivate this?

Edit: no, my bad. It does work, but the logging of the to-hit rolls must be enabled. All good, and thanks again.
