Add JSON-LD structured data for software application

We need to add a JSON-LD structured data snippet for our software application to improve SEO and support rich results. The snippet should be compatible with Next.js using <script type="application/ld+json">.

Requirements

  • url: Website URL
  • author: Name of the person or organization
  • publisher: Name of the person or organization
  • datePublished: Release date
  • applicationCategory: DeveloperTool, AI Tool, Documentation Generator, Readme Generator
  • operatingSystem: Web, Windows, Linux, macOS
  • requirements: Modern web browser, internet connection
  • softwareVersion: v1.0.1
