[Feature Request] Global vs. Workspace Variants

Hi there. I don't know if this project is still being maintained, but I wanted to suggest a feature in case it was.

My request is the addition of supporting workspace wide & global variations of markdown notes. I'm fairly sure that the current rendition of the extension only supports workspace-specific notes, meaning you cannot view notes from one workspace or window on another one. I've been using the extension as a catch all place for writing down notes, but I want these notes to be accessible regardless of which window or folder I have open at that time.

I would also love this feature too. I had planned on using this to keep noted down CLI lines that I hardly use and have a difficult time remembering them. Have a global note pad would be amazing.
