Short version: bold text can look bold now, big phones get the phone layout, and Codeman stops overwriting your own Claude statusline.
Terminal font weight. Two new rows in App Settings, Terminal, Font: normal weight and bold weight, 100 to 900. If bold in Claude's output never looked bold to you, that is because the CLI only sends the bold attribute and most monospace fonts step from 400 to 700, which at 14px is close to nothing. Set normal to 300 and headings stand out. This started with an analysis by @irisitymichaelgrundberg in #403, and on the way we found the bundled JetBrains Mono was declared 400 to 700 while the file itself goes 100 to 800, so lighter weights had been a silent no-op on a stock install. That is fixed as well.
Big phones get the phone layout. iPhone Plus and Pro Max, Pixel Pro, the Z Fold cover screen: anything under 600px wide is a phone now (it was 430), so you get the phone header, the Enter key and the accessory bar instead of a cramped tablet layout. @JDProfresh chased this down on a real iPhone 17 Pro Max, including the Safari zoom trap that made 480 not enough (#390).
Your statusline is yours again. Codeman used to write its plan-usage exporter into the workspace's
.claude/settings.local.json, which outranks your global settings, so it replaced your own statusline for anyclauderun in that folder, even outside Codeman, and showed the bare wordcodemanwhen you ran claude by hand. That is gone. The exporter is passed to claude as a flag when Codeman spawns it and is never written to disk, your own statusline is wrapped and printed inside Codeman sessions, and workspaces an older Codeman wrote to clean themselves up on the next session start. @timkjr built it in #361 and @irisitymichaelgrundberg diagnosed it in #405. One known gap: sessions inside a Docker case do not feed the plan-usage chip yet.The installer knows every CLI.
install.shand the Docker agent image are now generated from the CLI registry, so the install menu offers every CLI that can drive a session (eight, up from two) and adding one is an entry instock.tsplus a generate step. Still bash 3.2 for macOS, and CI now runs the script inside a real bash 3.2 container. @opticon454 did the whole thing (#380).iPhone Duo. Dialogs keep clear of the hinge, and a fold or a rotation is no longer mistaken for the keyboard. That second one bit every phone on rotate, Duo or not (#407).
Codeman is its own plugin marketplace.
/plugin marketplace add Ark0N/Codemanand then/plugin install codeman@codemangives Claude Code the codeman agent skill without a checkout. If you already installed the skill the other way, pick one, since both routes list it twice.Release notes: https://github.com/Ark0N/Codeman/releases/tag/codeman@1.28.2
