undesirable seams are left in the output objects:
freecad boolean operations seem to leave them in arcs at the rad=0=2pi position
using oldFuse is a workaround for fuse, but I don't have a workaround for .cut
maybe i can do some sort of cleanup or post processing to merge edges that would solve all seam issues
